Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is an over-the-counter (OTC) antihistamine that is commonly used to treat allergy symptoms, like sneezing, itching, and hives (rashes), motion sickness, and even difficulty ... Hydroxyzine (whose brand names include Vistaril) and Benadryl (the brand name of diphenhydramine) are both first-generation antihistamines and share many similarities, including sedating side effects. Problem is that you cannot take high doses of 1st generation antihistamines (Benadryl, Phenergan, etc....) without getting anticholinergic side-effects.
So the best solution is a new-generation antihistamine (Loratadin or Cetirizine). erehT olleH I love doing benadryl and i thought of mixing 15 benadryl pills (375mg) into some redbull. but i don't want to risk anything. Should i do it?

Do I get the tablets and ground them and mix in grain? I have used Benadryl several times and it works wonders. Vet had me give it for a case of hives that were not going down with Dex.
benadryl and heat rash, My vet said to use 10x the human dose. Since the humane dose is 1 to 2 pills, I picked 14 or 15 as my magic number. Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. Tagamet, diphenhydramine (Benadryl), and white grapefruit juice are a few potentiators in this case. Soma would work too but that is prescription only. One specific one comes to mind though, Phenibut.
Being as benzodiazepines are GABA antagonists, Phenibut is basically pure GABA with a phenyl ring (which allows it to cross over into the blood brain barrier) so it will definitely potentiate ...
