I have found 99% DMSO that is in a roll on dispenser and was wondering if I could topically apply the roll on DMSO and then apply my androgel to the same areas resulting in better absorbtion of androgel. My problem is the smell of garlic!!! Already been pointed out to me by co-workers so I have to do something. Don't really like the idea of throwing out almost two full bottles and starting... CEM has odorless dmso.
dmso lungs, No smell, no taste, nothing! It costs a bit but I am going to use it in the standard formula in this forum and up the dmso from 10% to 20-30%... Can't wait! 50% absorption??? I'm making up number here haha but excited.
dmso lungs, DMSO works by disrupting water in the startum corneum which allows for drugs to pass through. If your skin is dry - especislly from using a hydroalcoholic gel like Androgel, this will ensure better penetration. Also Androgel has a manufacturer stated delivery rate of ~10%... How would you use the d-limonene with the androgel? First off DMSO should not be used as a carrier. It is an effective penetration enhancer and should be used 10 mins prior application of trans and 30 mins after to pull through residue.
The link provide was for topical not transdermal carriers but most of the principles still apply. You could use dmso in the trans itself at a rate of upto 20%, 10% is probably sufficient. Old transdermal ... I have a stick of roll-on DMSO, how do you apply DMSO with Androgel?
