hsv1 and 2, since hsv1 prefers the mouth, genital-genital transmission is not common. hsv1 is known to shed more when you have it orally, so oral-genital is the most likely form of transmission and since it sheds less genitally, genital-oral is also pretty unlikely but yes it is probably more likely than genital-genital. if you’re looking for more info ... i just got diagnosed recently with hsv1 (first outbreak, genital). My Doctor didnt really answer my questions , so hopefully you guys can help me. i know not to have sex during an outbreak, but when im not having one can i not have unprotected sex at all ? regarding sex with a condom should i not let the guy go all the way in?
