I had nephrostomy tubes (NTs) after complications from an October 2022 Prostatectomy. The NTs are very tolerable. The tubes themselves are soft and shouldn’t disturb sleep. He may have to wake up once or twice throughout the night to empty bags, but if bags used are large enough, he won’t have to do this.
